Caste Structure
First Chair

Schedules , sets the agenda, and officiates Caste meetings.

Does not vote during Caste meetings save to break a tie.

Forms committees within the Caste as needed.

Liaison to the Council of Captains.

Has final approval of accepting members into the Caste, which can only be overturned by a vote of the Caste as a whole.

Reviews applications to the Caste for approval.

Must regularly attend Caste meetings

Review any issues or concerns not already covered by Caste Guidelines.
Second Chair
-
Tracks the development of Shipwrights within the Caste.
-
Assigns mentors to Shipwright apprentices.
-
Receives and reviews training records for Apprentice Shipwights.

Schedules, sets the agenda, and officiates Caste meetings in the absence of the First Chair.

Reviews applications to the Caste for approval.

Must regularly attend Caste meetings.

Review any issues or concerns not already covered by Caste Guidelines.

Must be a Master Shipwright.
Third Chair
-
Tracks the development of all Builders except Shipwrights within the Caste.
-
Assigns mentors to all Builder Apprentices except Shipwrights.

Schedules, sets the agenda, and officiates Caste meetings in the absence of the First Chair and Second Chair.

Reviews applications to the Caste for approval. Must regularly attend Caste Meetings.

Reviews all issues or concerns not already covered by Caste Guidelines.

Must be a Master in a Builder discipline or subcaste other than Shipwright

Must regularly attend Caste meetings.
Caste Scribe

Handle communications and records as instructed by the Caste Chairs.
